A skateboarder once thanked me for the Concentric Circle Arcs comprising my Wading Pool Labyrinth in Christie Pits Park. He said it helped with depth perception allowing for situation awareness. I wonder if same holds true for Unicyclists? impromptu games in the park. A post shared by Toronto unicyclists (@torontounicyclists) on Jun 21, 2018 at […]

it's not every day you find a big green labyrinth to walk in the middle of downtown. . walking this one was a very weird experience. it's in the middle of a pedestrian-only thoroughfare and i got in many people's way as i followed the path. my movements, weaving the meandering path, clashed with the movements of other pedestrians and their straight lines through the street. . on this day i was feeling very grateful for my greatest friendships which are also some of my greatest loves. one of my sweetest, oldest, and dearest friends took this photo of me and it reminds me of how powerful and mesmerizing love between friends can be. . our culture grants so much privilege to romantic, sexual, monogamous partnerships and places so much value on the unit of "the couple"… yet the romance and intimacy within platonic friendships is one of the sweetest gifts on this earth, and deserves just as much privilege and celebration💖 . the deep unconditional love from friends has helped me immensely through my grief and heartbreak. and i think of them with gratitude every single day . . . . . . . . . 📷: @kylekylelarge #labyrinth #robsonsquare #friendship #yvr #vancouver #downtown #magic #radicalspirits #witch #love #unconditionallove #friendlove #romance #gratitude
