Looking very closely, one might spot a number of stones out-of-place . . .
. . . Time for another maintenance visit to the Vancouver Public Labyrinth.

I re-chalked this specific Labyrinth a number of times now, and it’s remained visible and walkable for weeks!
Visited it again today and though the colours have faded, the outline is intact.
This image captures the moment well.
I might re-chalk it.
Or await the rain then re-do it altogether with more exacting measurements.
…And this would be my cue to stop procrastinating and return to my Spyglass Place Labyrinth for a major Maintenance visit!
You can still see the Chalk Labyrinth I made many days ago in the abandoned Plaza of Nations area in Downtown Vancouver . . .
For all the rain that Vancouver gets at other times of the year, nowadays with all the dry grass around, “Suncouver” is more like it.
A near-to-the ground close-up of the Heart Aglet from one of two Labyrinths I chalked on Commercial Drive during Car Free Day YVR a couple of weekends back…
Thanks Yuika!
Little One wearing a dress full of colourful hearts standing on the Heart I painted at the entrance of my Robson Square Labyrinth!
All her hearts match the colours of the Labyrinth!
Red Hearts, Blue Hearts, Green Hearts, Yellow Hearts!
WOW!
This image makes the colours in my Chalk Labyrinth really pop!
I chalked this during my neighbourhood Festival, the Strathcona Street Party, held on June 23 2018.
It’s was a few blocks over from where I live.
Strathcona Street Party was also the kick-off for the 3rd Annual Vancouver Mural Festival season…
Sometimes it feels like there are more than one path, or one road, inside a Labyrinth; until you reach the Heart of Labyrinth, its Centre…
Walking A Labyrinth might include winding your way to The Centre, then unwinding your way back out.
In a way, this GIF does the same visually.
We are taken into The Centre of the Labyrinth and then back out again in only a few seconds!
I’ve been visiting my Vancouver Public Labyrinth when I can for “maintenance” walks.
I reposition stones and slightly re-arrange some rocks to ensure a pleasant walking experience.
And sometimes, I see photos like these two Instagrams and know that the Labyrinth is doing okay. . .
Even if these photos were taken any number of days ago, I appreciate them being posted now!
Thanks Craig!
After all these years, there’s a sequel, Mary Poppins Returns scheduled for release this December(!)
Who knows, perchance she may yet find her way to Yaletown and the “Underbrella Labyrinth”…
This totally redefines what “Raincouver” means!
