Left to right are a white, red, and an orange Labyrinth which are part of Labyrinth Pier in Vancouver opposite Granville Island.
This is an unusual photograph in that the Seam of the pier, where different direction wooden planks meet, are the centre of the image.
A careful look reveals my red colour painted Heart Labyrinth.
The specks of white scattered about the Labyrinths are grains of rock salt to melt any early morning frost…
Of the Four Labyrinths I have thus far painted on what I call Labyrinth Pier, this first one in orange is the least faded.
I painted at least two full coats over the entire design.
I also painted this first one during the drier months.
Painting on dry wood planks allows for more longevity than painting on moist or damp wood.
Grateful to live in a City where the Labyrinths I make remain walkable in the Winter Months.

This one is a Larvitar who’s Augmenting Reality in the Centre of my Baltic Design Labyrinth pattern, painted in Cobalt Blue colours peaking through the early morning frost.
The earlier one was a Spinda 7.
Artists are often curious and sometimes surprised with how their audience encounters their work, or, interacts with it.
This is a Point of View of the seven lane orange Labyrinth I painted at what is now Labyrinth Pier.
Hadn’t occurred to me to consider this perspective.
I painted this Labyrinth in orange.
The damp wood can make the painted lines seem Red.
Hmmm . . .
I wouldn’t consider myself to be an “Evil” Sorcerer.
