Late in the evening capture of Augusta Avenue on the first Pedestrian Sunday of the Year.
Look closely, and you can just make out the well trodden, by then very faded chalk outlines of the Labyrinths I made earlier…
Often enough, people never ever walk the Labyrinths I chalk or paint or make, instead they choose to jump in somewhere to capture and share a self-portrait with the Labyrinth in the background.
Much like this one . . .
Here’s me earlier today chalking Labyrinths atop Augusta Avenue in Kensington Market, Toronto on the first car-free Pedestrian Sunday of the Year . . .
Labyrinth I painted in front of Bahn Mi Pho Bar.
Restaurant has new owners.
They painted over the old name,
And kept the old Labyrinth . . .
I recently re-painted my Labyrinth in the Wading Pool in Bellevue Square Park in Kensington Market.
You can also see some of the Design Motifs I also repainted.
The wading pool surface however has become decrepit and no amount of repainting can solve that.
At some point, the park itself will be remade, revitalized.
Unknown if the wading pool will survive at all.
Until then, you can still walk my Labyrinth . . .
Wait-a-minute…
That‘s not a Minotaur!
Multi-colour Heart Labyrinth I painted on Augusta Avenue in Kensington Market Toronto during an earlier Pedestrian Sunday . . .
Music + Parade approach my multi-coloured painted Butterfly Labyrinth on Kensington Avenue during Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington Market Toronto . . .
I was kind of pissed off that after all my work in creating this Labyrinth, this lady and comes and chalks her commercial website’s URL right in the centre of the Heart…
It gave an impression that she or her website created or sponsored this Heart Labyrinth on Augusta Avenue.
Aw well.
That’s kind of different . . .
A real life “Swan” in the Labyrinth!
