The Labyrinth I made using Green Masking Tape on this round cement Art Podium in Hinge Park, Vancouver, appears still visible and walkable . . .
Early morning light begins revealing the Orange Labyrinth I painted on Labyrinth Pier in Vancouver . . .
Initially I had chosen Yellow as the colour for this location, yet at the last moment, I picked up the Orange Can of Paint instead.
Mornings like this one confirm Orange was the way to go . . .
This is the western Boardwalk portion of Labyrinth Pier.
My intention was to paint a long rectangular Labyrinth in various shades of Green with The Overlook Maze from the film The Shining as a design inspiration.
I ran out of time last year to complete this.
The Boardwalk ain’t going anywhere, so, when I return to Vancity and have time and energy . . .
. . . And The Robson Square Labyrinth becomes an End Zone !
Bonus : Young one’s T-Shirt sports a Labyrinth Motif.

White and Orange Labyrinths on Labyrinth Pier, Vancouver . . .
My intention was to paint at least five and possibly seven very different Labyrinth Designs, each a different colour.
I was only able to complete four of them.
These two remain visible and walk-able.
This Labyrinth was originally going to be painted yellow.
Instead,
I chose Orange as an impulse buy at the paint store.
It worked out well.
This long exposure confirms it . . .
Look closely in the top left of the image.
You can make out the Heart Labyrinth I painted in Red.
The red paint has since faded,
Nevertheless,
This long exposure re-reveals it !

You can still make out the outline of my 11 Lane Masking Tape Labyrinth on the podium in Hinge Park . . .
I always intended to paint a Labyrinth on the podium rather than re-tape one.
Maybe I still will.
Walk to the centre of my Robson Square Labyrinth painted in Downtown Vancouver,
And you will find a Heart . . .
Look closely at the seam in the boardwalk and the now very faded red outline of my Heart Labyrinth I painted here reveals itself.
For it to last longer, I had intended to repaint it before I left Vancouver.
Aw well.
Will repaint it when I get back.
Look closely again, and you may notice the seam of my Heart Labyrinth aligns with The ‘Finger Paint’ mural on the exterior of The Charleson tower in Downtown Vancouver.
That 416 foot tall mural was created by visual artist Elizabeth McIntosh.
