Was wondering what my latest Labyrinth looked with water in the wading pool . . .

I biked to Budapest Park yesterday, Saturday to survey my Octagon Labyrinth.
Many fading Pink lines needed repainting.
I returned today, Sunday, and began re-painting the Pink with a luminescent colour of light Lavender.
I painted ” SUNNYSiDE ” and outlined ” BUDAPEST park ” in the Lavender/White.
Got tired shortly after Sunset and headed home.
Still have lines in three Octants to re-paint.
InshAllah,
I will return and finish painting over the fading pink before Toronto’s Wading Pools are officially opened for Summer 2020.
During the Pandemic,
Many have been waiting for Barber Shops and Hair Salons to re-open.
People need haircuts.
Likewise,
The Vancouver Public Labyrinth has been in need of a Grass Cut.
Today was that day . . .
Grateful to The City of Vancouver / Vancouver Parks Board staff for carefully cutting overgrown grass around the Vancouver Public Labyrinth !
Even though I wasn’t able to walk my Vancouver Public Labyrinth on this Pandemic Summer Solstice,
Grateful to see that at least one Vancouverite did . . .
The south east quadrant of the Vancouver Public Labyrinth dips just enough to allow rainwater to pool into puddle nurturing tall grass . . .
You can still make out the path.
It follows where the grass grew tall around the rocks and stones which outline the Labyrinth . . .
Nature nurturing a Hedge Maze from within my Stone Labyrinth ?

That’s very cool. I went for a walk this morning before the mist and chill settled on the city.

Grateful for this photograph.
It shows me two of the Pink lines are already peeling away, revealing the underlying painted Black design outline.
InshAllah,
I should be able to at least repaint these Pink lines asap.

Happy #WorldLabyrinthDay 2020 !

“See this as a maze,
Water hole on sacred pause,
Non amenity.”
Drone Photograph of my Labyrinth on the surface of the wading pool in Wadsworth Park, Toronto . . .
It seemed dumb and arbitrary, but probably technically correct. At least it gave the three guys something to do. They mostly stand around in the middle of an empty field in a huddle.

Here are Toronto bylaw officers at Christie Pits having trouble maintaining social distance while ticketing persons using a park bench, which was not cordoned off, in an open park, while public health officials tell us of the importance of exercise and fresh air #COVID19 #cdnpoli pic.twitter.com/NZWsIpioxi

Labyrinth I painted on Augusta Avenue in Kensington Market, Downtown Toronto.
I imagine this photograph was captured before Physical Distancing went into effect due to the Pandemic Lockdown.
If you walk it, do so one person at a time, that’s the only way to guarantee enough space between people . . .
