Here in Halifax to begin my second leg of 30 Masjids CANADA. This is a separate project from Toronto City of Labyrinths and is a different area of my life… yet here they are overlapping.
Travelling across Canada during Ramadan 2016, I am breaking each Day’s Fast with a different Muslim Community and blogging about the journey over on 30Masjids.ca.
And yet, among the first things to Welcome me in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is this wonderful Wading Pool… which Haligonians call a “Spray” Pool.
Wading Pool, Spray Pool, it’s ideal for an oversized Labyrinth designed for Neighbourhood Children.
Creating one here, would take at least 30-50 hours to design it well then paint it so it lasts a good while before its inevitable fading.
It appears, Toronto City of Labyrinths Project, may have to return to Nova Scotia to take up a Labyrinth Residency here, akin to Banksy‘s numerous residencies in cities world wide.
…InshAllah… God-Alone Willing, I may return and Make a New Labyrinth for The People of Halifax.
